摘要: Background Differences in Helicobacter pylori protein expression have been related to the risk of severe gastric diseases. In Spain, a marked geographic pattern cancer mortality has long reported. Objective: To characterize antibody reactivity patterns against 16 H. pylori proteins, by age, sex, and region birth, large sample Spanish adult population. Materials Methods Antibody was quantified multiplex serology from control group multicase-control study MCC-Spain. For this analysis, 2555 population-based controls were included. Each participant classified as seropositive or seronegative for each according specific cutoffs. Overall seroprevalence defined positivity ≥4 proteins. Descriptive analyses birth performed both seroreactivity (continuous measure). Differences among groups tested logistic linear regression models. Results Overall increased with age sexes. ages 55-74, lower women than men (84% vs 92%, P<.001). Region explained 7% variability seroprevalence. Among subjects, proteins highest GroEL, NapA, HP231, Omp. Seropositivity most remained stable rising mainly CagA, HyuA women. A clear cohort effect not observed. Conclusions This is first describe population. We found profiles individual factors such environmental birth. The slightness reduction seropositivity decreasing highlights ongoing importance infection.
