摘要: Integrons are one of the genetic elements involved in acquisition antibiotic resistance. The aim present research is to investigate presence integrons commensal Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains, isolated from pigs at different stages production system and environment an Argentinian farm. Five sows postpartum five randomly chosen piglets each litter were sampled by rectal swabs. They again day 21 70. Environmental samples farm also obtained. E. containing any integron class or combination both was detected polymerase chain reaction 100% production: farrowing pen stage 68.1%;, weaning 60%, growing/finishing 85.8%, showing increase along system. From environmental 78.4% detected. We conclude that animals can act as reservoirs for potential spread resistant bacteria means mobile integrons, which has a major impact on food reach man through chain, constituting problem public health.
