摘要: Abstract: This chapter discusses two types of Si-based light-emitting devices based on Ge quantum dots in optical microcavities and SiGe cascade (QC) structures. After reviewing various solutions for devices, the describes method to enhance light emission from through embedding them into microcavities. It then reviews laser (QCL) structures issues material growth, electroluminescence QC structures, n-type waveguides QCLs.
