摘要: A study of the flowering and fruiting phenology was undertaken for twenty species xerochamaephytic communities that characterize mountain-crest areas island Majorca (Balearic Islands, Spain). The period considered extends from March to November, with majority during spring early summer, a peak in June. duration at level is longest Rosmarinus officinalis var. palaui (which flowered autumn) shortest Genista majorica Rubia balearica. In this community, three strategies were observed may serve reduce interspecific competition between pollinators: 1) pollination specialization white-pink flowers; 2) high diversification yellow flower pollinators; 3) divergence time less common colours. individual plants whole populations are positively correlated, which indicate individuals each population optimize phenologically useful. spiny cushion community characterized by smaller intraspecific overlap comparison other examined.
