The influence of fire on the phenological behaviour of Mediterranean plant species in Bas-Languedoc (Southern France)

摘要: Fire is an ancient ecological factor influencing the Mediterranean vegetation of southern France. The study was carried out on three areas to determine phenological behaviour plants with regard fire. First we studied flowering responses perennials in relation time since fire: a Quercus coccifera garrigue most species flower during year following burning. In comparing by between burned and unburned did not show major differences stages. However, fire increase number inflorescences grasses. A synthesis showed that at community level existed for stages control sites first second years growth some woody also studied; elongation were biggest or after lack response may be adaptive trait
