摘要: A method and apparatus for detecting radiation including x-ray, gamma ray, particle radiographic imaging, nuclear medicine x-ray mammography in particular, material composition analysis are described. detection system employs fixed or configurable arrays of one more detector modules comprising that may be electronically manipulated through a computer system. The system, by providing the ability electronic manipulation, permits adaptive imaging. Detector array configurations include familiar geometries, slit, slot, plane, open box, ring configurations, customized wearable arrays, to shape patient. Conventional, such as attenuating, rigid geometry, unconventional collimators, optic, configurable, Compton scatter modules, can selectively employed with sources. Novel camera designs implemented. Edge-on resolution enhanced measuring interaction location along height aperture. detectors irradiated from side. components imaging chain calibrated corrected using processes invention. X-ray scintimammography utilizing sectional compression related techniques.
