摘要: A novel functionalized cellulose derivative, 6-O-[4-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)butyl]-2,3-di-O-methyl cellulose, has been synthesized and characterized. The photoluminescence spectrum of the as-cast film derivative exhibits sharp peaks with a well-defined vibronic structure, which indicates that interaction between carbazole groups is rather weak. This in contrast to broad poly(N-vinylcarbazole) thin film. thin-film device, where sandwiched by two different metals, shows drastic transition low- high-conductivity states upon forward backward sweeping an external electric field. reversible current density behavior demonstrates typical memory characteristic, ON/OFF (high- low-conductivity) exhibiting ratio about four orders magnitude. functional group such as moiety will be candidate for organic electronic materials.
