Electron Spin Resonance of Gd3+ in Orthorhombic and Rhombohedral Phases of BaTiO3

摘要: The electron spin resonance of Gd 3+ has been studied in the orthorhombic and rhombohedral phases BaTiO 3 . main features resonances are summarized their relation to Fe as follows: (1) axis axial crystalline field phase is parallel polar for , while this (2) magnitude parameter remains almost constant through three ferroelectric vanishes phase. To explain these differences electric gradients at Ba 2+ site were calculated plausible models array induced dipole moments surrounding oxygen ions discussed. Measurements on Eu have also performed powder samples
