摘要: This study revisits the issue of rare earth cation substitutions into barium titanate. Analysis based upon crystal chemistry, defect chemistry and metastable states is presented to aid interpretation experimental data. Recent detailed highly precise X-ray powder diffraction Electron Paramagnetic Resonance experiments performed on samples produced with different A/B ratios fired under oxygen partial pressure conditions give rise new insights material. Specifically, site occupancy valence for rare-earth dopants in titanate are considered. Earlier work also reviewed compared studies here. Collectively a classification various types behavior observed series presented.
