摘要: Ferroelectric materials are one of the smartest known to us, which have multiple functional properties, including piezoelectric, dielectric and pyroelectric characteristics. Since properties usually associated with response agilities external stimuli, better may be created if could make crystal structure or mechanical less inert As discussed in this chapter, various defects, vacancies, aliovalent dopants, domain walls, grain boundaries, interstitial surfaces, etc. been introduced into ferroelectric weaken stability so that some intended can greatly enhanced. In fact, any material used as a contains types defects. These defects chemically through doping being physically thermal processes engineering. Understanding role each type defect help us use properly our advantage designing creating smaller more advanced electric electromechanical devices further facilitate life.
