摘要: Low density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation has been proposed as an early event in the development of atherosclerosis. However, several clinical studies failed preventing cardiovascular diseases by administration natural antioxidants. Herein, we discuss these well use novel synthetic antioxidants such hybrid compounds designed to improve efficacy In particular, (tocopherol analogs–nitric oxide donors) that share nitric oxide–releasing properties and LDL incorporation capacity, demonstrating importance this site-specific release cascade events involved inhibition oxidation. This offers approaches for prevention atherosclerosis related disorders involve reactive oxygen nitrogen species. Secondly, biological actions nitrated fatty acids, which are antiinflammatory signaling mediators, representing another potential promising pharmacological strategy against diseases.
