摘要: Objective: We sought to determine whether the frequency of depressive disorders among patients with complex partial seizures is associated laterality ictal onset or interictal cerebral hypometabolism. Design: Fifty-three medically intractable were assessed for history meeting strict Diagnostic and Statistical Manual Mental Disorders, Revised Third Edition (DSM-III-R) , criteria use a modification Structured Clinical Interview DSM-III-R . All subjects underwent video-electroencephalographic telemetry fludeoxyglucose F 18 positron emission tomographic scanning. The main outcome measure was major episodes (MDEs) in left-sided vs right-sided temporal lobe Results: Thirty-three (62%) had disorders, 16 (30%) whom met one more MDEs. More those depression. Thirty-six definite unilateral hypometabolism demonstrated by left MDEs, combination high-degree strongly Furthermore, right hypometabolism, Conclusion: Laterality degree may be interdependent factors that contribute risk disorder seizures.
