摘要: Genetic polymorphisms in glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) genes might influence the detoxification activities of enzymes predisposing individuals to a lot disiases. Owing presence these genetic variants, inter-individual and ethnic differences GSTs capacity have been observed various populations. Therefore, present study was performed determine prevalence GSTM1*0/*0 , GSTT1*0/*0 GSTP1 Ile105Val 100 healthy from Goiânia - GO. GSTM1 GSTT1 were analyzed by Multiplex-PCR approach, whereas examined PCR-RFLP. The frequencies *0/*0 genotypes are 49% 31%, respectively. Ile/Ile, Ile/Val, Val/Val 40%, 53%, 7%, wild-type (Ile) variant (Val) allele 66.5% 33.5%, combined distribution showed 12 possible our population; seven them frequency greater than 5%. effect is still unknown. These findings population, give us such more information for future epidemiological clinical studies. Using examine combinations drugs metabolism cancer predisposition, further largest group would be needed, since their quite low. To polymorfisms, this first indicating polimorphisms GST superfamily health population Goiania population.
