摘要: The transcription factor NF-kappaB regulates a wide set of genes involved in the establishment many cellular processes that control cell activation, proliferation, and apoptosis. IkappaB inhibitory subunits integrate activation signals through phosphorylation ubiquitination its N-terminal domain. Using two-hybrid system yeast, we searched for IkappaB-alpha domain interactors therefore potential regulators. An interaction with mitochondrial ATP/ADP translocator ANT was detected yeast confirmed glutathione S-transferase pull-down assays co-precipitation experiments transfected cells. Subcellular fractionation, resistance to proteinase K treatment, electron microscopy demonstrated presence associated p65 intermembrane space. IkappaB-alpha.NF-kappaB appeared be released from mitochondria upon induction apoptosis by engagement Fas receptor. These data suggest pool participates regulation
