Expression and cellular distribution of the α1 gap junction gene product in the ocular pigmented ciliary epithelium

摘要: The expression of four different gap junction (GJ) transcripts, corresponding to the α1,α3,β1 and β2 gene products, has been examined in ciliary epithelium human bovine eyes, cultures epithelial cells. Northern blot analysis revealed that oq mRNA, 3.6-kb size, was predominant transcript expressed intact tissue pigmented cells (PE). No transcripts from α3, β1 or genes were detected as demonstrated by blotting.
