摘要: ABS>A time-to-amplitude converter with a full resolution width of 8.5 x 10/sup -10/ sec is described. The circuit based on the 6BN6 gated beam tube operated at unusually low electrode voltages. An additional super visory fast coincidence ensures that output pulses are produced only when pulse delay lies within desired time interval, thus avoided double-valued time- to-amplitude conversion inherent in such systems. Examples performance apparatus shown for prompt coincidences and delaynd distribution observed positrons annihilate fused quartz. time-to- amplitude easily added to an existing fast-slow assembly.
