摘要: DMBA is a major class of potent genotoxic chemical carcinogen present in the environment and it may increase breast cancer risk. Flavonoids have been shown to interesting biological activities many experimental investigations. Hesperidin one citrus flavonoid be active against various oxidative stress mediated diseases. The aim study was investigate beneficial impact natural flavonoglycoside hesperidin 7, 12-Dimethylbenz [a] anthracene challenged carcinogenesis with reference drug metabolizing enzymes intrinsic antioxidant status. female Sprague-Dawley rats were orally administered single dose 12-DMBA induce treated [30mg/kg/body weight] for consecutive 45 days. results revealed that there significant reduction status antioxidants levels also alterations found genotoxin exposed animals.
