摘要: Objective: After excision of a preauricular sinus, head bandage compressive dressing is usually used to reduce dead space and decrease the risk recurrence. However, such use may cause various problems. We assessed new method dressing, using suture transfixion silicone sheets former sinus tract, following excision. Methods: This retrospective study reviewed medical records patients undergoing in tertiary referral centre over five-year period. underwent sheets. Post-operative outcomes were analysed. Results: The was performed on 50 ears 37 patients. post-operative incidence recurrence haematoma formation 4 2 per cent, respectively. Other problems possibly caused by bandaging, as headache, facial flushing, nausea and/or vomiting, not observed. Conclusion: Compressive safe effective
