摘要: The repair of surgical wounds the external ear--whether it be a primary skin closure, flap, or graft--presents several challenges with respect to healing. One these is that not easy fashion wound dressing has smooth, moisture-containing surface, conforms shape auricle, and adheres while providing light pressure. An ear features characteristics--the malleable dressing--is expected become commercially available soon. In this article, author describes his use in 48 patients reviews results follow-up questioning 20 patients. Based on findings, concludes effective, comfortable, aesthetically acceptable, can worn continuously for 7 consecutive days without complications.
