摘要: SummaryMedical imaging is the study of human functions and anatomy through pictorial information. During past 15 years all new medical modalities introduced are digital-based systems. Firstly concept digital imaging, meaning spatial density resolutions, signal-to-noise ratio reviewed. Based on these definitions, current technology in image storage transmission discussed including magnetic disk, parallel transfer optical Ethernet, fibre distributed data interface (FDDI), Ultranet.Among many manipulation functions, two simple types which commonly used clinical applications discussed, one for visualization enhancement other quantification.
