摘要: Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) interacts with two classes of high affinity binding sites on rat UMR cells cultured in monolayer. One class was found to be localized the extracellular matrix (ECM) after removal from culture dish. The interaction LIF ECM-localized is not dependent upon either glycosylation or presence glycosyaminoglycans. Chemical cross-linking studies demonstrate that a 200-kD cell-associated protein and 140-kD protein. A could also specifically precipitated solubilised metabolically radiolabeled ECM by antibodies directed against virtue its ability form stable complex unlabeled LIF. In addition, soluble associated this biologically active terms inhibition ES cell differentiation. properties species are very similar those secreted receptor suggesting localization signal transduction may closely coupled.
