摘要: By harnessing quantum effects, we nowadays can use encryption that is in principle proven to withstand any conceivable attack. These fascinating features have been implemented metropolitan networks around the world. In order interconnect such over long distances, optical satellite communication method of choice. Standard telecommunication components allow one efficiently implement by measuring field quadratures (continuous variables). This opens possibility adapt our Laser Communication Terminals (LCTs) key distribution (QKD). First measurement campaigns are currently validating approach.
