First isolation of Yersinia ruckeri from rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in Peru

摘要: Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) are successfully reared in hatcheries located above 3000 m altitude Peru. Two surveys were conducted to determine the fish health status of Department Junin, first through a FAO project and second by Direccion Regional de Pesquerias. As result survey Yersinia ruckeri was isolated nine 17 inspected. In survey, 22 28 found be infected with Y. ruckeri. The bacteria TSA, identified bacteriological procedures, serotype confirmed using slide agglutination reaction.
