摘要: Background: Working in direct contact with mass casualties is stressful. Studies on the impact of exposure to over a prolonged period time are sparse due logistical reasons. The current paper studies impacts conflict and among Iraqi health professionals Kirkuk. Method: Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) was randomly distributed staff teaching Hospital Kirkuk, Iraq. Fifty nine returned questionnaires. Of those who responded, 24 were from surgical casualty department, 20 employed mortuary 15 serving medical wards not directly dealing incidents. Results: handling has affected both genders all age groups. There higher incidence depression females. Overall, DASS score highest lowest ward casualties. Conclusion: Health exposed casualties, especially them, likely suffer symptoms depression, anxiety stress. Monitoring their mental will assist minimise psychological distress associated occupations.
