摘要: We describe a modified heparin--Mn2+ procedure for high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol quantitation, especially in lipemic samples. High-density-lipoproteins may be estimated as remaining plasma supernates after precipitation of other lipoproteins by heparin and Mn2+ treatment. However, samples or those from non-fasting individuals, the lower density precipitated chylomicrons, very-low-, low-density-lipoproteins frequently prevents their sedimentation usual low-speed centrifugation, thus is overestimated resulting turbid supernates. Sedimentation improved twofold increase concentration to 92 mmol/liter. The reported here produced clear more than 95% tested. Any can cleared simple, convenient ultrafiltration technique. filtration removed essentially all very-low- without removing appreciable amounts high-density-lipoproteins.
