Fission of Uranium under Deuteron Bombardment

摘要: SINCE the phenomenon of neutron-induced fission uranium and thorium nuclei is now indisputably established, attention may be turned to possible efficacy other bombarding particles in this respect. An outline here presented evidence suggesting that high-energy deuterons are, fact, capable producing uranium.
