摘要: BACKGROUND: Solid-pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas (SPTP) is an uncommon and enigmatic pancreatic neoplasm that occurs mainly in young women. Although more cases have been reported recent years, misdiagnosis incorrect treatment still frequently take place. This study was designed to stimulate consideration this tumor. METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed experience diagnosis 15 patients with SPTP compared them 516 cancer from January 1997 March 2007. RESULTS: Most were asymptomatic except for one palpable mass. Almost all SPTPs demonstrated a solid structure hypo- or iso-attenuation, cystic hypo-attenuation on pre-contrast CT scan, enhancement portions post-contrast scan. By contrast, most carcinoma had multiple symptoms abnormal blood results. The tumors showed both only few iso-attenuation All our group cured by surgical resection, while 16.86% could undergo radical resection. CONCLUSIONS: Clinical features scans helpful differentiate carcinoma. Radical resection effective safe method SPTP.
