摘要: The type III secretion system (T3SS) is a conserved virulence factor used by many Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria and has become an important target for anti-virulence drugs. Most T3SS inhibitors to date have been discovered using in vitro screening assays. Pharmacokinetics other characteristics of pharmaceuticals cannot be determined with assays alone. In vivo are required study pathogens their natural environment step the development new drugs vaccines. Animal models also understand whether inhibition will enable host clear infection. This review covers selected animal (mouse, rat, guinea pig, rabbit, cat, dog, cattle, primates, chicken, zebrafish, nematode, wax moth, flea, fly, amoeba), where activity infectivity studied relation specific (Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Pseudomonas Shigella Bordetella Vibrio Chlamydia Yersinia spp.). These may appropriate those researching inhibition.
