摘要: Abstract The determination of the target for percutaneous thermocoagulation trigeminal rootlets has been generally based on analysis subjective clinical verbal and motor responses as assessed by freehand displacement an electrode active at its straight or curved distal tip. In a previous report, we demonstrated that sensory evoked potentials are practical value when attempting to localize position electrodes. This report describes technical features multiple array designed provide simultaneous access various segments along chosen division divisions, correlating each segment electrophysiological data with radiological landmarks in individual patient. system consists outer needle four windows distance 15 mm from A occludes isolated caps stimulation recording. After window inter se, is selected. thermocouple fitted micromanipulator allows accurate placement center tip window. Preliminary 25 patients indicate technique provides reliable sequential clinical, electrophysiological, explored tract.
