摘要: Abstract Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a Gram-negative, halophilic bacterium autochthonous to the marine environments and responsible for seafood-borne gastroenteritis. Though hemolysins TDH and/or TRH are classical virulence factors, several other potential factors may contribute their pathogenicity. In this study, V. was isolated from seafood harvested along southwest coast of India confirmed by standard biochemical molecular methods. Genome sequencing revealed presence T3SS2 operon in an approximately 44 kb region close proximity hemolysin gene trh . The annotation genes encoding apparatus proteins VscC2/R2/S2/T2/U2/N2, VcrD2 , ATPase VscN2 translocons VopB2/D2 effectors VopA /C/ L To best knowledge, first report on characterization T3SS cluster isolate information will be assistance future studies determine different attributes as well mechanisms that enhance environmental or host fitness parahaemolyticus. such suggests these isolates cause infection humans upon ingestion contaminated questions safety consumers.
