摘要: Measurements of broadband ultrasonic attenuation (BUA) are currently made using large aperture, piezoelectric transducers. The use such a receiver is known to lead the possibility an overestimate due phase cancellation and it shown theoretically that this same effect can also BUA. Using new scanning approach, BUA was measured two methods, one sensitive acoustic wave, other not. measurements were found be significantly higher value (p < 0.0001) than insensitive with mean difference 31.2 dB MHz-1. These findings compatible hypothesis measurement systems piezo-electric receivers inherently inaccurate.
