摘要: The motility of the stomach is modulated by complex interplay muscular, humoral, and neuronal factors. Rapid gastric emptying has been described after gastrectomy, gastrojejunostomy, vagotomy with pyloroplasty, active peptic ulcer disease. may result in "dumping" syndrome postprandial hypoglycemia. We report a patient who developed hypoglycemia Nissen fundoplication for reflux esophagitis. This first this complication surgical procedure. was secondary to combination rapid emptying, absorption glucose causing hyperglycemia, excessive insulin secretion. should be considered patients develop hypoglycemic symptoms fundoplication. Treatment low carbohydrate diet anticholinergic agents offer symptomatic relief.
