摘要: It is important to understand tradeoffs in preferences for natural and constructed green space semi-arid urban areas because these lands compete scarce water resources. We perform a hedonic study using high resolution, remotely-sensed vegetation indices house sales records. find that homebuyers the area prefer greener lots, neighborhoods, nearby riparian corridors, they pay premiums proximity amenities. The findings have fundamental implications efficient allocation of limited supplies between different types native conservation metropolitan areas.
