Case reports, case series, prospective or cross-sectional studies including relevant data such as relative infant dose, milk-to-plasma ratio, drug plasma levels, adverse events were identified. Results A total 26 604 PubMed included study. These lamotrigine (122 cases 12 reports), lithium (26 five carbamazepine (64 valproate (nine three oxcarbazepine (two two reports). Of one report both valproate. The suggest that a considerable amount are excreted into breast milk. There is paucity on oxcarbazepine; however, infant/maternal ratio serum concentration seems to be lower exposure compared other stabilizers. incidence infants reported very low. Conclusions The current can prescribed without any most lactating women. available also low prevalence rate laboratory abnormalities hepatic, kidney, thyroid functions infants.
