摘要: This chapter is an introductory overview of the most commonly used assay methods to estimate number viable cells in multi-well plates. describes assays where data are recorded using a plate-reader; it does not cover designed for flow cytometry or high content imaging. The covered include use different classes colorimetric tetrazolium reagents, resazurin reduction and protease substrates generating fluorescent signal, luminogenic ATP assay, novel real-time monitor live days culture. described based on measurement marker activity associated with cell number. These measuring results proliferation, testing cytotoxic effects compounds, multiplexing as internal control determine during other cell-based assays.
