摘要: In recent years, engineered nanoparticles have garnered increasing attention due to their potential for application in areas ranging from consumer and industrial products medical diagnostics therapeutics. This arises the unique physical chemical properties associated with high surface-to-mass ratio quantum phenomena of nanoparticles. Nanoparticles are same size range as many biomolecules such proteins membrane receptors, interactions these can be controlled by tuning surface property/composition Thus, serve useful imaging, diagnostic therapeutic agents. On other hand, also give rise cytotoxic effects. Hence, it is imperative carry out detailed characterization nanoparticles, especially those intended applications, predict behavior vivo environment. chapter describes some methods that characterizing advantages, limitations, challenges.
