摘要: In recent years seaweeds increasingly attracted interest in the search for new drugs and have been shown to be a primary source of bioactive natural products including antibiotics. present investigation antimicrobial activity Gracilariopsis longissima lipidic extract was assayed its chemical characterization carried out by means advanced analytical techniques such as gas-chromatography multinuclear multidimensional NMR spectroscopy. G. showed an antibacterial against several Vibrio species. These results are interesting considering both resistance antibiotics developed vibrios need control fish shellfish diseases due vibriosis. Analysis fatty acid methyl esters performed that palmitic ester (16:0) predominant saturated (42%), while, among monounsaturated acids, oleic (18:1) prevailed (8.5%). Because represents main component acids we hypothesized involvement observed. However, pure sample did not show activity. The profile revealed also composition polyunsaturated particular ratio ω-3 ω-6 >1 thus suggesting this macroalga may used ω3. Moreover, (1)H spectrum CDCl(3) algal lipid fraction shows characteristic signals unsaturated well other metabolites. Interestingly, presence polyhydroxybutyrate, linear biodegradable biocompatible polyester, clearly identified conclusion, on account activity, nutritional value content polyester potential biotechnological resource.
