摘要: In the Yucatan Peninsula coast, a large diversity of seaweed species are found, and recent studies have reported presence metabolites with pharmaceutical importance. this study, biological screening brown extracts from Dictyota ciliolata, Padina sanctae-crucis, Sargassum fluitans, Turbinaria tricostata was carried out. Their cytotoxicity antiproliferative activities were evaluated by sulforhodamine B assay on human embryonic kidney (HEK 293), breast cancer (MCF-7), prostate (LNCaP), hepatic (Hep-G2) cell lines. Seaweed also tested for their anti-trichomonal (Trichomonas vaginalis) anti-giardicidal (Giardia lamblia) properties. Fucan fractions extracted using successive maceration ethanol/water freeze-dried. Organics obtained ethanol residue liquid–liquid fractionation. A total four extracts, fucan-rich fractions, ethanolic 12 organic obtained. Only D. ciliolata active against LNCaP (CC50 24.4 29.3 μg mL−1, respectively). Interestingly, activity found in maintained when both subjected to fractionation hexane line 25.2 μg mL−1, The assays showed that dichloromethane P. sanctae-crucis MCF-7, IC50 26.1 29.8 μg mL−1, respectively. These been selected further bio-guided isolation compounds.
