摘要: Abstract The objective of this study was to improve performance the soybean meal-based adhesive by an ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDE) and diethylenetriamine (DETA). Three-ply plywood fabricated measure wet shear strength. functional groups, cross section, crystallinity, thermal behavior, physical properties resultant adhesives were characterized in detail. Results show that DETA reacted with EGDE form a long chain structure epoxy which cross-linked soy protein molecules denser cured layer water resistance adhesive. In addition, formed interpenetrating network molecules, further improved Incorporating EGDE/DETA, strength bonded 30.7% 1.15 MPa, met interior use requirement. Additionally, compared control adhesives, viscosity decreased 39.4–50.3%, made practical for industrial application.
