摘要: Abstract Cu 2 FeSn 3 S 8 and FeTi spinel compounds have been used as electrode materials in lithium cell. The insertion mechanism was studied by characterization of chemically lithiated (via n -butyllithium) samples using the X-ray powder diffraction 57 Fe Mossbauer spectroscopy. intercalation process correlated with electrochemical behavior. Rietveld analysis tin based phase shows a weak extraction copper between 0 per formula. Along this extraction, migration iron cations from octahedral to tetrahedral sites observed. Regarding titanium thiospinel, reduction occurs two steps. Firstly (IV) is reduced Ti (III). Secondly, following five already intercalated lithium, occurring towards lower oxidation state Ti(II).
