Assessment of Genetic Variability of Fish Personality Traits using Rainbow Trout Isogenic Lines

摘要: The study of inter-individual variability personality in fish is a growing field interest but the genetic basis this complex trait still poorly investigated due to difficulty controlling origin and life history. When available, isogenic lines that allow performing independent tests on different individuals having identical genotype constitute very relevant experimental material disentangle environmental components behavioural individuality. We took advantage heterozygous investigate rainbow trout through analysis their reactions situations. To end, seven ten were screened for spatial exploratory behaviour, flight response toward stressor risk taking behaviour.
