摘要: Abstract Objective Our objective was to compare the ECLIA from Roche versus LC–MS/MS method for quantitation of serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D in patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. Design and methods Cross-sectional correlational studies were performed on three different groups 25-OH-D levels quantitated by both methods. The control group apparently healthy subjects randomly selected a clinical chemistry laboratory. Test had bilio-pancreatic diversion (BPD) supplemented either with vitamin 2 or 3 . number samples per established according CLSI recommendation protocol (EPO9-A2-IR). Results agreement LC-MS/MS acceptable post-BPD -supplemented an average bias − 1.7% − 9.2%, respectively. However, this unacceptable − 45.3%. enabled us detect four excess poisoning which it necessary stop supplementation group. Conclusion Despite apparent good between post-DBP patient group, considerable seems exist, particularly presence is therefore most accurate follow population.
