摘要: The cellular composition of the spleen has been assessed in 18 patients who died 15-326 days after receiving allogeneic marrow for leukaemia. white pulp showed marked lymphocyte depletion with no germinal centres, very few B cells, and rare plasma cells. marginal zone was unrecognizable but there were moderate numbers T cells periarteriolar lymphatic sheaths (PALS), showing great variation CD4/CD8 ratio. percentage CD4+ decreased time post transplant. CD8+ reduced graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) also increase staining activation markers. No detected expressing immature phenotypes differences between received purged or unpurged Macrophage appeared normal. Extramedullary haemopoiesis (EMH) predominantly red greater than 30 transplantation more commonly before then. Pyknotic common seven cases to be associated EMH rather GvHD. Chimaeric studies demonstrated small donor PALS at 26 larger 56 days.
