摘要: Radiative forcing is a fundamental quantity for understanding both anthropogenic and natural changes in climate. It measures the extent to which human activities [such as emission of carbon dioxide (CO2), see image] events (such volcanic eruptions) perturb flow energy into out climate system. This perturbation initiates all other response external forcings. Inconsistencies calculation radiative by CO2 introduce uncertainties model projections change, problem that has persisted more than two decades. The explicit careful vetting transfer parameterizations provide straightforward means substantially reduce these improve projections.
