摘要: Few concepts in the social sciences literature have received as much attention from many disciplines and policy sectors concept of “participation”. With public participation continuing to figure prominently debates about improved government performance increased accountability it seems reasonable ask: What influences participation? This paper presents a critical review vast, multidisciplinary that has examined on with an aim promote learning across academic sectors. The is used starting point for developing framework analyzing community-level health- care decision making. A typology presented incorporates both qualitative quantitative dimensions participation. Influences are organized around three predominant themes emerging literature: i) relationships between individual community characteristics (i.e., predisposing influences); ii) institutional actions enabling iii) interests, interest groups precipitating influences). framework’s applications discussed will be illustrated upcoming CHEPA working where case study results health making presented.
