摘要: Ras proteins play an important role in the signaling of cell growth and differentiation. Mammalian ras are made up 188 or 189 amino acids with approximate molecular mass 21 kDa, hence named p21. Three genes have been identified human cells, H-ras, K-ras, N-ras, they all show a high degree sequence homology for first 165 acids, after which sequences diverge. The p21 attached to cytoplasmic side membrane through polyisoprenoid group is covalently linked Cys-186 (Hancock et al. 1989; Buss Schafer 1989) possess inherent GTPase activity that stimulated by activating protein (GAP; Trahey McCormick 1987; Vogel 1988; 1988) neurofibromatosis type 1 NF1 (Martin 1990; Xu 1990).
