摘要: The feeding ecology of the stone marten in a rural area Central Italy was assessed by faecal analysis. Habitat analysis, performed through Geographical Information System, and intensive radio-tracking allowed us to investigate intra-population variations diet relation habitat. species’feeding habits were opportunistic: fruit berries staple but mammals birds also important. Diet varied seasonally resource availability, with predominance autumn frequent presence insects summer.
