摘要: BACKGROUND Recently, a torque-measuring micromotor has been shown to provide reliable, quantitative intraoperative evaluation of bone density and implant primary stability. This may be particularly useful for determining quality residual consequently the most appropriate site preparation in posterior maxilla, where often is low quality. PURPOSE work aimed assess medium-term success implants placed during 1-stage sinus augmentations using an undersized drilling protocol. In case density, relationship between height (RBH) stability was also investigated. MATERIALS AND METHODS Clinical records patients who underwent augmentation concomitant placement following 12.5% protocol were retrospectively analyzed. all patients, measured intraoperatively was ≤ 0.45 g/cm3 . A minimum 60 months follow-up required inclusion. RESULTS Records 106 received 253 reviewed. No significant difference rate found had less than 4 mm RBH those more. CONCLUSIONS Underpreparation implant-placement sites enabled achievement successful implant-supported rehabilitation maxilla even when both low.
