摘要: This article illustrates the analysis by synchrotron micro-analytical techniques of an azurite painting presenting greenish chromatic degradation. The challenge experiments was to obtain spatial distribution degradation products azurite. Copper hydroxychlorides, carbonates and copper oxalates have been mapped SR FTIR imaging cross sections in transmission mode. To complement information, Py/GC/MS GC/MS were applied order characterize binding media organic materials present as well their products. Results contribute a better understanding decay blue areas ancient paintings not only from particular point view weathering, but also adding information regarding oxalates’ formation samples. Synchrotron radiation demonstrates its capability for mapping sections.
