摘要: The assays are used for the diagnosis of hydatid disease still imperfect. reported diagnostic sensitivity and specificity vary greatly depending on panel sera used, laboratory conducting assay, and, more critically, antigen used. To contribute to its standardization, we have recently ranked performances major parasite antigens available synthetic peptides using a large collection serum samples. That work showed that B (AgB) possesses highest value among these antigens. In present further dissected antigenicity by analyzing reactivity same against set spanning sequence both AgB subunits. N-terminal extension subunits appeared be immunodominant in human infections. A 38-mer peptide (p176) delineated from AgB/1 subunit performed an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with higher (80%) (94%) than native AgB, Ag5, or any other tested this view high nature as well-defined reproducible antigen, p176 could conveniently reference standard disease.
